7. Fertilizing: Apply a light dose of organic compost or diluted liquid fertilizer every 3 weeks to support steady bulb growth.
8. Pest Management: Watch for aphids and cabbage worms, common to this Brassica family crop. Use neem oil spray as a natural, safe control method.
9. Harvesting: Ready to harvest in 45–60 days, once the bulb reaches 5–7 cm in diameter and is still tender. Cut the bulb at the base, just below the soil line.
